Our Studio booth uses a Canon M50 Mark II DSLR camera in hand with a strobe to get those studio-finish photos that everyone loves!

//WHICH BOOTH IS BEST FOR ME

Ipad vs. DSLR

When choosing which of our booths to have at your event, keep in mind that both of our booths can take amazing pictures. Ultimately, picture quality all comes down to lighting! With our standard Ipad booth (we use an Ipad 12.9 pro), we set up custom lighting so that we are able to get the best quality possible. All of the custom features can still be created using this booth.

Alternatively, our DSLR booth uses an Ipad for the touch screen with the power of a Canon M50 Mark II camera. There is a significant difference in photo quality when using this booth vs. the Ipad, with one of the most obvious reasons being the strobe light that is attached to the booth. This creates beautiful studio lighting using flash vs. stationary illuminated LED lighting that an Ipad booth offers. At the end of the day, it all comes down to the type of event you are hosting. For photos with 1-2 people in them, we recommend our Selfie (Ipad) booth. For photos with larger groups in them, we recommend our Studio (DSLR) booth. We also highly encourage the Studio Booth for those interested in having prints.
